Inside Maya Jamas Love Island viewing party with celebrity friends including £300 gift

Maya Jama made her Love Island presenting debut last night, to the delight of her devoted fans, and has now shared an inside look at how she celebrated back home in the UK.
On her social media, the 28 year old showed off how she created a DIY cinema room and a themed cocktail menu for the occasion.
Maya posted a snap of the drinks on offer, with a series of cocktails including the appropriately named “Picante De La Casa Amor,” “Hideaway,” and “Bombshell.”
Before the show got underway, Maya shared a clip of her homemade Cinema experience – complete with plush armchairs, inflatable flamingos, parrots and beach balls and a massive screen to ensure that her guests don’t miss any of the action.
She also showed the room's reaction to her dramatic helicopter entrance, with one attendee jokingly shouting out “hi there,” as Maya stepped out of the chopper in a tiny red outfit.
Plenty of Maya’s celeb pals attended the bash, including YouTube star Chunkz, presenter Craig Mitch and rapper Poet.
Mitch even splashed out on a £300 bottle of Ace of Spades champagne for the occasion.
Thanking him on her Instagram, Maya said: “Look at what Mitch got me – lovely!”
Ahead of last night’s launch, Maya revealed in an interview with Vogue that she had been a fan of Love Island “pretty much since it started,” before adding that stepping into the villa was “like stepping onto the set of your favourite film.”
The 28 year old presenter also joked that she’d struggle to resist the urge to start giving advice to contestants and that – were she a few years younger – she might consider entering the villa as a hopeful herself.
On January 8, Maya confirmed that she was newly single after her split from her Basketball player ex Ben Simmons, who broke off their engagement in late 2022.
The two were first linked in Summer 2021 and it was later reported that the 26 year old sportstar had popped the big question just before Christmas that same year.
Prior to her relationship with Ben, Maya dated rapper Stormzy for four years from 2016.
Despite rumours dogging Maya that she had rekindled her relationship with the grime star, Maya recently put an end to the speculation by describing herself as “really, really single.”
