You might wonder why anyone with hair as lovely as Amber Gill would ever want to change it, but in a bid to give something new a try, the Love Islander has just transformed her whole look with an unbelievably silky style.

And as you’d imagine, it looks amazing on her.

The hair change hasn’t yet made it onto her Instagram grid just yet, but last night the 23-year-old gave fans a little preview of her swishy new style on her stories.

“What do we think?” she asked fans, as she posed with her honey “bronde” hair.

“I promise I will take photos in these wigs!”

Amber gives away her speedy transformation trick by revealing she’s been playing around with new wig styles while hair salons in the UK remain closed until at least December. The results though are remarkable, and no one would know that Amber hadn’t painstakingly sat with hair straighteners for hours.

The look is very similar to the wig style Kylie Jenner is favouring at the moment, which features light brunette lengths mixed with baby blonde highlights around the fringe area. A colouring technique that has now been called “hair contouring”, after both Michelle Keegan and Kate Middleton chose to have this clever way of highlighting done before lockdown number two.

Seeing Amber without her curls is new for us, as the star is known for her masses of dark coils. In fact, her famous curls have even snagged her the job of Cantu Beauty ambassador – a styling brand she frequently praises on her Instagram.

Just the other month Amber gave a detailed look at her surprisingly affordable £20 hair routine, which featured Cantu. She also mentioned in an interview that when she went into theLove Islandvilla last year, she had a secret supply of curl-taming products shipped in as the stuff in the showers just wasn’t cutting it for her.

She’s also a big fan of weekly hair masks, and when it comes to her night time hair routine, she puts her hair into a hair wrap and sleeps on a silk pillowcase.

“It’s improved my hair and there’s not too much frizz,” said Amber.
