Adorable photos of the King as a toddler have resurfaced after being found in a skip – and will now go up for auction.
The black-and-white photos, which were taken at Clarence House around the year 1950, show the monarch as a two-year-old larking about on the lawn.
In the photos, little Charles is dressed in cute dungarees and is playing with a series of toys, including what appears to be an elephant or a horse on wheels.
The set of photos, which originally belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth’s physiotherapist Margaret Saul, have resurfaced after going missing for 25 years.
Another set of snaps which has also been discovered show Charles’s younger brother Prince Andrew as a newborn.

In the resurfaced photos of the monarch, he beams as he larks about in the grounds of Clarence House, a royal residence he is known to cherish.
Though the photos are in black-and-white, it is clear the two-year-old King is sporting a mop of light-coloured hair as he plays on the lawn.
He is wearing short sleeves and dungarees and beams for the camera as he appears in his element with his toys.
In one particularly sweet moment captured on camera, Charles is seen petting the fluffy toy elephant he has in the background, which has a handle and wheels so he can move it around.
A further set of photos show a virtually newborn Prince Andrew being held by the midwife who delivered him, Sister Helen Rowe.
They were taken in the ground floor Belgian Suite at Buckingham Palace, where the Queen gave birth to her third child in February 1960.
The snaps are now in the possession of Willingham Auctions and will go under the hammer soon.
