Princess Beatrice and Edoardo “Edo” Mapelli Mozzi announced their engagement in September 2019. As the news broke, royal fans from across the world congratulated the couple by sending them letters.
Now, one royal fan has revealed Princess Beatrice replied with a thank you note, posting a photo of it on Instagram.
Taking to Instagram, the royal enthusiast @loopycrown3 wrote: “Message on the back of the card from HRH Princess Beatrice of York and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.”
The note from Beatrice read: “Thank you so much for thinking of us after the engagement.
“It is so kind of you to wish us happiness for the future.

“We are so excited to get married and begin life together. With our very best wishes, Beatrice and Edo.”
Emma Bache, handwriting expert and leading graphologist in the UK, told Express.co.uk how the 31-year-old’s handwriting reveals a lot about Beatrice.
She said: “Beatrice has a strong right slant but a substantially uneven baseline to the writing.
“She is sociable, communicative and versatile but she also gets bored easily and can have trouble concentrating on one project for long.
“The handwriting has a natural flow and energy with a mixture of thread like joining strokes as well as more copybook arcaded links between individual letters.
“She can be quick witted and somewhat impatient but is also likely to be well mannered and diplomatic.”
Ms Bache, who is the author of Reading Between The Lines published by Quercus, also revealed the Princess is “no push over”.
She said: “Although she possesses a good sense of humour and sense of fun she is mainly conservative in her outlook towards life.

“There is evidence of some retracing of strokes particularly in the word ‘happiness’.
“She is keen for the reader to take note of this word as she ‘checks’ herself and slows her handwriting down to emphasise the importance.
“Her fairly long and loose lower zone strokes show a healthy vitality and physicality.
“Beatrice is independent and certainly knows her own mind.
“The occasional final angled stroke on certain words shows that she is no push over and can have a temper if pushed.
Ms Bache added: “Her signature is larger and the letters further apart than the main body of text.
“She wants others to regard her as more confident and more relaxed than she often feels.”
Princess Beatrice and Edo announced their engagement on September 26 last year.
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson said of the engagement: “We are thrilled that Beatrice and Edoardo have got engaged, having watched their relationship develop with pride.
“We are the lucky parents of a wonderful daughter who has found her love and companion in a completely devoted friend and loyal young man.
“We send them every good wish for a wonderful family future.”
Buckingham Palace has announced the couple will marry “in 2020” and that “further details will be announced in due course.”
