Robert De Niro’s co-star Sebastian Maniscalco is thrilled that the actor has become a dad again at age 79.
“It’s great,” gushed Maniscalco to Page Six at the premiere of his new film, “About My Father,” Tuesday night. “I found out today just like everybody else.”
Earlier Tuesday, the Oscar winner confirmed that he had welcomed another child but did not reveal the name or sex of his newest family member.
De Niro also didn’t reveal the mother’s name, however, his much younger girlfriend, martial arts instructor Tiffany Chen, was spotted with a baby bump last month.
The pair met in 2015 on the set of “The Intern” and were snapped on a trip to Spain the following year.
The actor’s newest bundle of joy joins a big brood that ranges in age from 51 to 11.

De Niro is dad to 51-year-old daughter Drena, whom he adopted in 1971 with ex-wife Diahnne Abbott. The exes also share son Raphael, 46.
He also fathers twin sons Aaron and Julian, 27, with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith; as well as son Elliot, 25, and daughter Helen, 11, with ex-wife Grace Hightower — whom he divorced in 2018 after over 20 years of marriage.
Sebastian — who plays De Niro’s son in “About My Father,” which is loosely based on his relationship with his own father, Salvatore Maniscalco — feels like he has something in common with the iconic actor.
“I have two kids myself,” he explained. “I’m an older dad, I’m 50, I have a 3-year-old son, so I know about being an older father. I’m not as mobile as maybe some of the younger guys out there but yeah, congratulations to him and his family. It’s a special moment.”
Anders Holm, who also stars in “About My Father” and worked alongside De Niro on the “Intern,” was equally effusive.
“Hey man, I love it,” he enthused. “I got a 1-and-a-half-year-old. I hope we can get the kids together and have a good time!”
De Niro, himself, seemed to take it all in stride.
When Page Six asked if he was surprised at this late-in-life arrival, he flatly replied with a “no,” adding that the pregnancy was “planned.”
“How you could not plan that kind of thing?” he told us Tuesday.
Other stars at the premiere included “Sex and the City” alum Kim Cattrall, “Succession” star David Rasche and “The Lost Husband” star Leslie Bibb.
