If you’re planning to stay indoors for Valentine’s Day, here’s an irresistible offer for you.

Supermarket giant Tesco has slashed the price of Baileys just in time for the most romantic day of the year.

As part of the store’s Weekly Little Helps, Tesco has launched another run of great value deals.

The Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur, which is originally £20, is down to an affordable £12 for a 1L bottle.

From today until February 14, customers can pick up a bottle of the creamy drink, as well as earn points on their Tesco Clubcards.

The beverage is the only cream liqueur to have been awarded medals every year since 2003 at the San Fransisco World Spirits Competition.

For the best flavour, enjoy the smooth, velvety taste of Baileys on its own or add a few ice cubes to the mix.

And if you’re looking for a delicious twist, add the tipple to your favourite coffee or pour over vanilla ice cream for an indulgent treat.

But if a smooth drink isn’t one for you, Tesco has also slashed the price of San Miguel Lager for a limited time only.
