Water flosser hailed by shoppers as ‘worth every penny’ reduced in Boots sale

Savvy Boots shoppers have been racing to purchase a cordless water flosser on sale ahead of Black Friday.

The Waterpik Cordless Plus Water Flosser is currently on offer for £37.50, down from its RRP of £60.

The dental device features a rechargeable battery and compact design, and this portable oral irrigator is a great solution if you prefer the convenience of a cordless electric Water Flosser.

It cleans deep between teeth and below the gumline where traditional brushing and flossing can't reach, utilising a unique combination of water pressure and pulsations. It also massages and stimulates gums for enhanced circulation.

It's particularly great for anyone with braces, implants, crowns, bridges or periodontal pockets, as it cleans deep between the teeth and below the gumline to remove up to 99.9% of plaque from treated areas.

Plus, the flosser features a dual pressure control system, ergonomic design with non-slip grip and easy to fill water reservoir with 45 seconds of flossing capacity.

Many shoppers have been impressed with the product, which has allowed them to improve their oral health and enjoy a cleaner, fresher mouth.

One reviewer said: "Since using the water flosser, there has been a significant improvement in my gums. Really surprising how much can be missed by flossing traditionally with string! Worth every penny! Takes a couple of attempts to get use to using but its great!"

Another person wrote: "Easy to use when you get the hang of it! Drowned myself & the bathroom the first couple Of times but soon got used to it. Comes with multiple interchangeable heads. Clear guide of how to use."

A third penned: "I was recommended this product by my dentist. So far so good, takes a bit of getting used to, but I'm sure when I do, it will be great."

Someone said: "Great item to have in your dental hygiene routine. Cleans out the “gunk” that brushing alone can’t. The price is well worth saving your gums and teeth from periodontal disease."

However, another customer was more critical of their purchase. They said: "I bought this unit a week ago. The reservoir leaks all over the place. There’s no covers for the picks, so after each use, they have to be washed and covered with something. The dual speed control doesn’t really work. It’s difficult to get onto the low speed.

"There isn’t a pick with a small tip. No size choices. I think I bought the wrong model for me. Most importantly is the reservoir leaking and water all over the place when turned on. It is securely set in place and still leaking. Not a happy customer."
