Adam Lambert live stream concert for UK and US fans announced for Queen star’s birthday

Adam Lambert sings Bohemian Rhapsody with Queen in Sydney

It’s hard to believe Lambert is about to turn 39 and twelve years have passed since he stunned US TV audiences with his debut on American Idol. The singer has kept fans entertained during lockdown with playful posts (never looking less than fabulous, of course), online performances and a recent fan Q&A. But he’s been storing up something special for his birthday and just confirmed the dates and times for two special concerts.

Since 2011, Lambert has been collaborating with Queen, culminating in the current Rhapsody World Tour.

However, he told fans his new shows will focus on his latest album Velvet “plus plenty of our older favourites, and some brand-new surprises.”

The star also promised teh show will give everyone the much-needed opportunity to enjoy “the party we all deserve” in these difficult times.

Lambert said: “I’m so excited to be putting on a show for my fans worldwide.

“Live performance has always and will always be at the heart of what I do, so I’m so happy we’ve found a way for it to persist safely in place of my cancelled Las Vegas residency and European tour.

“The show will be a real celebration, with new songs from Velvet plus plenty of our older favourites, and some brand-new surprises.

“I look forward to the party we all deserve from wherever in the world you may be!”
