Al Pacino’s girlfriend files for custody of newborn, but insists they’re an item
Hollywood veteran Al Pacino's 29-year old girlfriend has reportedly filed for physical custody of their newborn son – despite an insistence the pair haven't actually split up.
The 83-year old Godfather star's romance with Noor Alfallah was called into question after proceedings commenced just three months after the film producer gave birth to the tot.
According to court documents seen by The Blast, the couple, who have been together for around 18 months, have agreed a "reasonable visitation" schedule that works for both parties.

Joint legal custody of the youngster – named Roman Alfallah Pacino – will allow Pacino, however, to have a say in major aspects of his life, including his schooling, religion and healthcare.
A representative for Pacino told The US Sun: "Al and Noor have successfully worked together and have mutually reached agreements regarding their child Roman."
Roman's birth on June 6 came just over year the pair had gone public, as snaps of them dining together at an Italian restaurant in Los Angeles went viral.
A single-page "voluntary declaration of parentage" signed by both Pacino and Alfallah this week, meanwhile, was witnessed by a third party in the form of Thais Aliabadi – the leading gynaecologist who helped to deliver a baby for Khloe Kardashian.
The document essentially declares that Pacino is the biological father of the baby – in line with Californian legislation which states parents and their incomes must be established before ordering child support.
Film producer Alfallah is also said to be demanding that Pacino pays all legal fees and attorney costs in the case, which will also determine how much child support will be paid.
Income details in the documents filed to court do not reveal how much Alfallah is looking for, however.
