BGTs Twist and Pulse star shares marriage plans with ex Team GB gymnast husband

Britain's Got Talent star Ashley Glazebrook has revealed an insight into his marriage plans with his former GB athlete fiancé, Liam Durbridge.

Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy, better known by their stage names Twist and Pulse, first shot to fame after appearing on the hit ITV talent show in 2010.

The pair have since gone on to tour worldwide and even win the all-star version of BGT, Britain's Got Talent: The Champions, in 2019.

The dance double-act spoke exclusively to the Daily Star about the new series of the show and what they've been up to since their BGT rise to fame.

Ashley AKA Twist, 30, popped the question last summer to his partner of seven years, Liam, who in his Instagram bio describes himself as an "ex GB Gymnast" and "World & European Champion".

Talking about his engagement, Ashley revealed: "We've looked at a few venues ad hoping to get married in 2023. We still have a few more to look at but we are hoping to have a lovely wedding. But it all costs a lot of money!"

When asked if he had chosen his best man yet, he added: "Ooh, I haven't actually asked anyone yet… But I've got a good idea of who it could be. I'll wait for that, I might release it in a video or in a smart way to do it."

The London auditions kicked off with a bang with the duo making an appearance to show off their new dance routine featuring McVitie’s biscuits and tea at the Palladium.

Giving advice to the upcoming series 15 contestants, Ashley added: "You have to enjoy it otherwise you walk away from it and think 'oh, I should have just relaxed and had fun with it'.

"That's what we always remember. As nervous as we were, it was the best feeling ever. So, just enjoy it otherwise you will regret it."

Pulse dancer Glen also said: "I think just be yourself. There's nothing worse than pretending to be someone else on TV and then people know you're not that person. If you're not that person then I think you're going to struggle.

"As long as you're yourself and you be true to who you are, then you will be fine. Keep grounded. Our parents always said to us, from our very first audition, 'just make sure you keep yourself grounded and treat people how you want to be treated.'"

Twist and Pulse, Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions winners performed a new dance routine, inspired by biscuits being dunked into tea, at the launch of BGT season 15, as McVitie’s is announced as this year’s official sponsor of the show.
