Charlie Radnedge’s Made In Chelsea pal says Love Island gig was ‘hardest secret’

Made in Chelsea star Miles Nazaire admitted it was "killing" him not say anything after seeing his friend Charlie Radnedge enter the Love Island villa.

Viewers were treated to not one but two new bombshells during yesterday's (June 22) episode, with Charlie's arrival coming after the earlier one of Antigoni Buxton, daughter of TV presenter and celebrity chef Tonia.

Antigoni enjoyed three dates upon joining the villa picking Jay Younger, Davide Sanclimenti and Dami Hope.

The girls would not be left out, though, when Charlie, a real estate development, checked-in with a cocktail party as his introduction.

His arrival was known to Miles for some time and he took to Instagram to support his pal.

Speaking on an Instagram story, Nazaire said: "The secret is out, Charlie is on Love Island. We've known for weeks and it's been killing us to not say anything.

"Me and the boys obviously knew this and this is why he's not been on social media or we haven't been hanging out with him.

"However, please everyone go support our boy Charlie. He's amazing, he's our best mate and he is going to kill it.

"He's one of the funniest humans we know. We are taking care of his socials, which is proving to be very difficult because now my phone has double-whammy of notifications and it's crazy."

Speaking about his decision to sign up for the show, Radnedge said: "It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity – I’ve got to give it a go. I date quite a lot in London and I’ve been single for three years, so I’m not having that much success in that department, so why not try something new."

Upon entering the villa, Charlie said: "‘Would I say I’m posh? I don’t think so. Maybe a bit posh, but I dunno, maybe it’s just my accent.

"The girls in the villa look great. I’m going in there to find love, so that may involve stepping on a few people’s toes," he added.

Ekin-Su Culculoglu revealed that she was going to show interest in getting to know Charlie to see if Jay would mind at all after he went on a date with Antigoni.

It appears that Charlie is similarly intrigued, too, saying he’s looking for a "fiery girl" and Ekin-Su certainly fits that brief.
