"Thank you God for giving me another miracle baby. See you in June Bubba," he added.

Michael was then inundated with positive messages from fans as well as touching messages from his former BBC co-stars. Dean Gaffney, who plays Robbie Fowler, jokingly said: "You’re like a bus mate, wait 50 years and two come in succession!"

Wayne Lineker commented: "Go on Grecs … I guess that means another year without you coming to Ibiza."

One fan wrote: "Amazing mate. Love to hear good things happening for you always."

While a fourth added: "Congratulations to you and your family! Lovely news."

The EastEnders star welcomed his son Gianluca in 2021 with his partner Helen Harris. Gianluca was born prematurely and only weighed 4.47lbs at the time of his birth.

Gianluca, which means "gift of God" in Italian went on to receive treatment in ICU at Great Ormond Street Hospital for a rare birth defect. During that time, Michael continued to keep his followers online updated.

Taking to Instagram, he said: "The little man was born prematurely due to the fact that previous scans had failed to pick up his rare birth defect called Gastroschisis. The consultant suggested it was best for him to born early so that he could get the necessary care and attention.

"He was born at University College of London Hospital @uclh Their staff were extremely professional and Mother and Baby could not have been in better hands." Michael went on to confess how emotional he was at the time of his son's birth.

He said: "Baby has already had his first operation to replace his bowel where it should belong and is under the worlds best care of @greatormondst where he will be in ICU for a while and most probably for up to 6 weeks." The star explained.
