Helen Flanagan hints at new relationship – but daughter doesnt seem to approve
Helen Flanagan has hinted she is in a new relationship – 17 months on from splitting from her footballer fiancé, Scott Sinclair.
Former Coronation Street star Helen, who shares three children with her ex, took to her TikTok account on Sunday to record a video with her two eldest – Matilda, eight, and Delilah, five. In a sweet clip, the trio took part in a trend related to Real Housewives of Orange County.
In the video, youngster Matilda declares: "I said that I don't think that he's good for you." And after 33-year old Helen responds: "How do you know what's good for me?" Matilda quips: "That's my opinion!"

It comes after Helen opened up on a series of 2023 dating disasters after joining the VIP platform, Raya earlier this year.
Earlier, the actress took to TikTok to give her followers the lowdown of her unsuccessful foray back into romancing. Ticking men off one-by-one in her phonebook, she wrote: "Too obsessed with dogs. Ruined my mental health. My ghoster. Dead chat. Complicated X."
She continued: "Dead chat 2. My One Night Stand. Let's just say it's been an experience. In conclusion we're hoping for a better 2024." Helen captioned the hilarious post: "After 13 years of being wifed off, I've spent this year trying to find myself and start dating again. Lets just say its been an experience…"
Previously in a three part series on the same platform, Helen admitted that Scott was "really special" and the pair were "just meant to be". Discussing her current situation, she said: "So, I want to talk about dating as a single mum. Where do we start… I was with my ex… gosh like forever, since I was like 19 to about 31 and yeah he was like my one.
"My ex had loads of good qualities that I loved, I like guys to be a bit silly and Scott had a good sense of humour, he was very like calm. If we ever had an argument I was the feisty one and he was chilled."
In more positive news, meanwhile, Helen has confirmed she is to return to acting five years from leaving Corrie. In a stunning career move, she has landed a major part in the West End after admitting she had been "looking for the right part for ages". The star was announced as part of the 2024 UK tour of Cluedo 2 – The Next Chapter last week, which will see her appear as the iconic Miss Scarlett.
Helen will feature alongside Jason Durr – known best for his lengthy roles in both Heartbeat and Casualty – who will star as Colonel Mustard. Struggling to contain her excitement, Helen revealed: "I've long been looking for the right theatre role for ages and I'm so excited to be making my stage acting debut in the iconic role of Miss Scarlett. It could not be more perfect!"
