Jeff Brazier has revealed how he asks Jade Goody for advice on raising their boys and believes her spirit still watches over them.
The TV presenter sees signs such as feathers which he feels have been sent by the late reality star. Jeff, who’s been a regular in the Strictly audience to watch son Bobby compete, says: "I often ask her for advice and we always find feathers. Many an occasion I’ve asked, 'What would you do?' because it’s a tough responsibility having all the weight of it on your shoulders. She is always part of the conversation.
"Bobby has so much of her in him and we see that shine through in every performance. Of course for those she’s absolutely with us, she’s there."

Over the weekend, EastEnders star Bobby performed a salsa to Dirty Dancing’s (I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life alongside pro partner Dianne Buswell in the Strictly quarter-finals Jeff has been full of emotion during his son’s routines and also when the 20-year-old actor won the National Television Award for Rising Star earlier this year.
He admits: "I haven’t really stopped crying for the last couple of years on account of how proud I am. Getting into EastEnders, walking the catwalk for Dolce & Gabbana, winning an NTA, it borders into awe." Jeff believes Bobby’s ability to meet challenges stems from having to cope with the loss of his mum when he was just five.
"I think it comes from having to encounter one of the biggest challenges we can ever face in life, especially at such a young age, and that’s loss,” he says. The 44-year-old knows Jade would be proud of her sons regardless of what they did. He adds: "One thing we were absolutely definite and united on was our children would have a better life than we did, a better childhood."
Jeff has teamed up with his other son Freddie for a NatWest campaign helping to educate families on fraud this Christmas. The bank has created a new board game called All Mod Cons which sees players dodging scams to hold on to their cash. Jeff says: "Over Christmas online fraud attempts are absolutely through the roof. All Mod Cons is a wonderful way of learning what scams are out there and how we can avoid them."

Despite joining his dad for the campaign, Freddie, 19, hasn’t yet shown any sign of following his father and brother into showbiz.
And we won’t see Jeff quickstepping on to the Strictly dance floor after his son. He says: "I can’t possibly shake my hips the way he does!"
Jeff and Freddie appear in a new Christmas ad-style video to launch a board game by NatWest aimed at raising awareness of common scams. All Mod Cons is available to play in select branches.
