Lil Nas X Heading to Military Base in Area 51-Themed Music Video for ‘Old Town Road’ Remix

There are a lot of scenes that are worth mentioning in the visuals, including the one where an animated version of Keanu Reeves is seen doing the ‘Naruto’ run.

AceShowbizLil Nas X is taking advantage of the latest viral Area 51 meme. On Tuesday, July 16, the rap superstar released a new remix of his mega hit “Old Town Road” with Billy Ray Cyrus, Young Thug and Mason Ramsey (better known as Walmart Yodeling kid) along with its animated music video that is based on the viral meme.

There are a lot of scenes in the music video that are worth mentioning, including the one where a bird with Thanos’ head flying across the screen while the Infinity Gauntlet is lying on the ground. At one point, viewers are also offered a scene of Keanu Reeves doing the famous “Naruto” run while Lil Nas and his crew are approaching a military base. The latter part of the visuals sees Lil Nas pulling a panini out of his gun holster and alien gifting Billy and Mason super-futuristic rides.

The music video becomes an immediate hit among people as it has been viewed more than 2 million times on YouTube.

The Area 51 joke has been going on over the past few days. It all began with a Facebook event that invited attendees to “all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry” on September 20. “If we ‘Naruto’ run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens,” the event description continued to read. The now-viral event stands at 1.4 million RSVPs so far.

The U.S. Air Force quickly issued a warning afterward, discouraging anyone from actually attempting to enter the top-secret area. In response, the organizers of the event added in the description page, “Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan. I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the Internet.”
