Madonna share bath video as she warns coronavirus doesn't discriminate

Madonna’s penchant for utterly surreal social media content (remember her FedEx face?!) continues with a coronavirus-themed message recorded in a bath.

Baby, she’s Madonna, she can record such a video if she wishes!

Yes, just days after an isolation-induced performance about fried fish to the tune of Vogue, the God Control singer is back at it with another memorable clip.

In the message, posted to Instagram, the pop icon said: ‘That’s the thing about COVID-19. It doesn’t care about how rich you are, how famous you are, how funny you are.

’How smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell. It’s the great equaliser and what’s terrible about is it what’s great about it.

‘What’s terrible about it is that it’s made us all equal in many ways and what’s wonderful about is, is that it’s made us all equal in many ways.

‘Like I used to say at the end of human nature every night, if the ship goes down, we’re all going down together.’

Powerful words – even if the bath setting and the foreboding music are a little distracting!

Madonna’s time in isolation follows huge disruption to her Madame X tour this year.

Dates were cancelled for a multitude of reasons, from the virus to production issues to injuries sustained by the Material Girl herself. Rest up, Madonna!
