Adam Perkins was widely known for his Vine clips
As you may recall, Vine star Adam Perkins is perhaps most widely known for his viral “Welcome to Chili’s,” video in which an underwear-clad Adam saunters into a bathroom, gazes into the mirror, and says enthusiastically, “Welcome to Chili’s.” Per Variety, Adam’s seven-second clip garnered more than 25 million loops and the young internet sensation racked up more than 300,000 followers on the popular social networking app before it was discontinued in 2016.
Adam was also a graduate of New York University, where he studied musical composition, and in 2018 the young musician released his very own album, Latch Relay. During the somber announcement in which he confirmed Adam’s death, his twin brother Patrick also conveyed his plans to release Adam’s album Latch Relay on a “limited edition vinyl” via Adam’s label Plas Teg Records, “a label that will seek to fulfill his musical destiny that was so tragically cut short.”
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Patrick and the rest of the family.
