TOWIEs Tommy Mallet quits multi-million pound trainer empire after eight years

Former TOWIE star Tommy Mallet has stepped down from his trainer empire after eight years.

The TV star, 31, has become one of the most successful cast members after becoming a multi-millionaire following the launch of his shoe brand, Mallet. But Tommy confirmed he has now left his role as co-founding director, telling his one million followers not to be afraid of starting again.

Taking to Instagram on Friday (November 24), Tommy shared a lengthy caption announcing the news. He wrote: "I never thought I’d be sitting here writing this, but with it now being public knowledge through news articles I have to address."

"On the 31st of October I stood down from my role at Mallet London, the company I love and always will do, for many reasons, the main one being I feel it’s important to grow in life and not stay still, I’ve done all I set out to accomplish with this brand, and I’m forever grateful for what I’ve learnt and who I’ve met along the way!"

Tommy continued: "I love you all involved (even the ones I’ve been in legal battles with) because without you I wouldn’t be who I am today and wouldn’t be prepared for what’s in front of me in my journey! I've learnt a lot this year and the main lesson for me is no matter what don’t be scared to start again if it’s something you believe in, I still own the company and I’ve left it in good hands!"

The dad-of-one added: "I want it to strive and I’m excited to see what’s next for it under another direction… I always wanted to leave on a high and for me it doesn’t get much better than Reebok!"

Tommy recently announced he was signing up with world-famous sportswear brand, Reebok. The TV personality has been engaged to co-star Georgia Kousoulou since February 2022.

The couple, who share son Brody born in 2021, pushed back the date of their wedding after Georgia suffered a miscarriage in April. Tommy confirmed the wedding will go ahead next year.
