A Place In The Sun is getting a spin-off series after 22 years on screen, it has been revealed.
The series is set to see property experts revisit the homeowners that they have helped move overseas.
Hosts like Danni Menzies and Laura Hamilton will be able to see how their clients have got on since buying their dream home abroad.
Amanda Lamb is also set to be returning to visit a couple from Derbyshire who were looking for a home in Lorraine, France.
Amanda presented the popular Channel 4 show between 2001 and 2009.

The spin-off series is said to be named A Place In The Sun What Happened Next?
A Place In The Sun bosses shared on its Instagram page: “We’re excited to announce that a brand new format ‘A Place in the Sun – What Happened Next?’ is coming soon!
“40 new episodes will reunite presenters with their house hunters to see what happened in their quest for their dream homes after appearing on the TV show!”

The announcement sparked a fan frenzy, with dozens commenting on the post about the upcoming show.
The spin-off series was hinted at in 2022, with Laura Hamiton telling Express.co.uk: “We haven’t [done much of that] at the moment.
“We’re not making a TV show of it, but I think the beauty now is a lot of us keep in contact with the people that we filmed with and helped find homes.

“And if we go back to similar destinations I will always sort of contact my house hunters if I’m in the area and say, ‘You know, I’m in the area, can I can I pop in the sea for a cup of tea or, you know, are you here?'”
She continued: “And so then we’ll catch up and it’s always lovely to go back. So we do it personally. But I think it would be it would be lovely if there was an opportunity for us to show the viewers at home.”
A Place In The Sun airs on weekdays at 4pm on Channel 4.
