GMB: Susanna Reid makes ‘quickie’ comment leaving Ben flustered

ITV’s Adil Ray has announced that he will be replacing Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain whilst she takes a two-week break.

The television presenter posted on X, formally known as Twitter, that he would be on the ITV daytime show for two days next week.

He shared: “In an exclusive major, exclusive huge, exclusive massive shake-up I am taking over GMB. Next week. For two days. (Thursday and Friday ).”

This was in response to Susanna Reid who tweeted that she was taking time off for the half-term holidays.

Earlier this week, she confirmed she would be missing from the ITV morning show for the next two weeks.

Co-host Richard Madeley turned to Susanna and said: “Have a lovely time off,” as she revealed at the end of the show that she would be returning in two weeks’ time.

Many of Adil’s fans were delighted that he will be back on their screens after previously hosting the show alongside Kate Garraway, Charlotte Hawkins, Ranvir Singh and Susanna herself.

One person replied: “Great stuff! Missed you though enjoyed watching you in the inheritance x.”
