Bargain Hunt star ‘crying’ after item found at boot sale ‘raises eyebrows’
Bargain Hunt: Teapot sells for almost £400,000
On Friday night, a host of famous faces will return to screens for this year’s Children in Need.
However, in support of the annual BBC fundraiser, Bargain Hunt will also be broadcasting a special episode that features the likes of Rustie Lee and Heather Small.
Expert Christina Trevanion and Pudsey hosted an action-packed celebrity showdown in Malvern, Worcestershire which saw the red and blue teams competing.
On the Red team was Michelin star chef Jean-Christophe Novelli and Caribbean cooking queen Rustie.
The dynamic duo went head-to-head with the Blue team which consisted of Heather from ‘M People’ and legendary musician Rick Wakeman.

Both teams weren’t alone in their antique-finding mission, as expert David Harper was on hand for the Red team, while the Blue team had expert Danny Sebastian.
However, speaking in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, TV chef Rustie opened up about what it was like filming for the BBC antique show.
Rustie laughed as she remained tight-lipped about what items she found and what was sold at auction.
Although, she did tease how her co-stars reacted to one bizarre find at the car boot sale.

“It was fantastic. It was hard work, I have to say, but it was great fun,” Rustie said when asked about taking part.
“And to know that you’re doing it for something so special and for the children you’re going to help, it was so rewarding.
“I thoroughly enjoyed it because of two things, I was having fun choosing things because I love antiques, and I love to look at things and try to price them anyway.
“And of course, I had the chef Jean-Christophe who was with me and he was so much fun. He was such a gentleman and it was such a pleasure working with him.”
When asked whether there was any competitiveness between the teams, Rustie laughed: “From day one, before we even started it was like, ‘I’m going to beat you, I am going to win’ and it was like that the whole way through.”
Despite admitting to having a few disagreements over what items to choose, Rustie did pick one antique which raised a few eyebrows.
“I saw something that I really liked and the way he looked at me, he went, ‘Rustie are you sure?’ and I went, ‘Trust me’.”
While not giving too much away about the mystery item, Rustie described the moment as “hilarious”, adding it was her “big spend”.
The chef stated: “There were a lot of raised eyebrows, I am laughing and crying because it was just hilarious.”
