BBC Breakfast host had a little cry after leaving fans gutted with exit news
BBC Breakfast presenter Victoria Valentine admitted that she was feeling very emotional as she shared her thoughtful gifts from her friends at the studio.
This comes after she announced she would be leaving the show to go study for her doctorate, leaving her fans devastated with news.
Victoria shared pictures of a collection of bouquets of flowers, as she penned: "Absolutely beautiful flowers from my BBC colleagues. Had a little cry when I opened your card.

"Thank you. You know who you are. Xxx."
It didn't take long for the comments to come pouring in from her fans, as one said: "We will miss you on screen Victoria."
Another added: "All the Best for the future," while a third chipped in: "Best wishes, Victoria. I will miss seeing you on the TV. I hope that all of your dreams come true."
A fourth tweeted: "I'll miss your engaging presence and beautiful smile on my screen, but hope you might be back from time to time to top up your student funds fill a short term gap. Enjoy your course to the full, and take every opportunity to develop your writing skills in particular."
Victoria took to social media to share the big news last month, as she wrote: "I wanted to let you in on something I've been thinking about and working towards for some time now.
"I am taking a little bit of a break from broadcasting and from the BBC in order to explore something new.
"So I – at the grand old age of 39 – going back to university."
"I am enrolled in a full-time masters course, psychological sciences, which I've kind of sold to my parents as a bit of neuroscience with some thinking and feeling stuff attached to it.
"You can probably understand why that would appeal and be something I'm interested in.
"Should that all go well and I'm not terrible at it, I'll be looking to progress and do a doctorate. Perhaps four years from now you'll be looking at Dr Valentine."
