BBC Breakfast star missing from show just a day after ditching studio in hosting shake up | The Sun
A BBC Breakfast star went missing from the studio today after being absent yesterday during a hosting shake up.
Carol Kirkwood regularly hosts the Beeb's weather forecast, but viewers were disappointed to see she was absent from tellies this morning.
The 61-year-old was also not in the studio during her breakfast segment yesterday, as she made a surprise visit to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom on behalf of the programme.
The weather woman made the trip to Blackpool Tower ahead of the dance offs taking place this weekend, and shared some snaps from her exciting journey with fans.
Carol posted a picture of the ornate ballroom, saying: "Real treat being in the Ballroom in The Blackpool Tower this morning. Thanks to all who made this possible. @bbcstrictly @BBCBreakfast"
The Scot also reminisced on her time as a Strictly dancer, reuniting with old friend Karen Hauer.
