BBC Breakfast's Jon Kay and Sally Nugent leave sports reporter scrambling with 'dare' live on air | The Sun

BBC Breakfast's Jon Kay and Sally Nugent left a sports reporter scrambling with a 'dare' live on air.

The duo were back on the red sofa to present the latest news and topics today.

They also turned their attention to sport, with colleague John Watson who was at the AO Arena in Manchester ahead of the Davis Cup.

The city is hosting the international tennis event for the first time since 1994.

Sunday will see 13,000 fans watch GB's final group match, which will potentially be the largest crowd ever for a Davis Cup tie.

As John discussed the competition, he headed over to the umpire's chair and placed his hand on it.

He then told viewers: "That is the hot seat right there, the umpire's chair."

Sally replied: "Oh the stress of it John. Can you imagine the pressure? Too much pressure for me that one!"

John agreed, but was taken aback when Sally then added: "Before the end of this morning's programme I expect you to be sitting in it."

Jon added: "Dare you."

John looked up at the chair and replied hesitantly: "Okay… Go on. Alright. It's a dare. I'll take it."

However, later in the show, John was in other parts of the arena and didn't appear to complete the dare.
