Celebrity Gogglebox has signed up rock icon Roger Daltrey, Daily Star Online can reveal.
The lead singer of rockers The Who will be among the famous faces appearing on a charity special this week.
Bosses are said to be thrilled they have convinced the music legend to take part.
A show insider said: “Roger is a bona fide music legend. The producers can’t believe their luck. They think he is going to be TV gold.”
Roger, 76, did a filming session for the show last night but it is yet to be revealed who he will be appearing on the sofa with for the charity special.
Fans can see him make his debut on the show during a one-hour special on Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
It is being screened to raise awareness of the Stand Up To Cancer appeal.
Our source added: “Roger has given up his time for free to support a very important cause.”
Roger is also a patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Other celebs set to feature in the special include regulars Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe.
However, the line-up for the show is yet to be confirmed to viewers, so they will to wait and see which celebrities will be sitting on their sofas to watch hit TV shows.
Gogglebox regularly pulls in more than five million viewers.
Celebrities that starred in the last series for the Channel 4 special include Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash, Shaun Ryder and Bez, and Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
The charity special for Gogglebox will air next Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
