Coronation Street star reveals soap exit and has already filmed their final scenes | The Sun

A CORONATION Street star has revealed their soap exit and admitted they have already filmed their final scenes.

Actress Lucy Avison – who has played Chloe Pearson in the ITV show since March 2022, took to Twitter to share the news.


Lucy took on the role of social worker Chloe and has played a vital part in Abi Franklin's storyline to regain custody of her son Alfie.

But yesterday was her final appearance on the Cobbles.

Taking to Twitter, Lucy said: "Hey folks! Just letting you know that tonight is my last appearance as Chloe Pearson @itvcorrie I had such a wonderful experience, what started as one episode became nine!!!

"I am so looking forward to seeing what comes next and forever grateful for the opportunity xx @MarcandMcc."

Her co-star Jack James Ryan, who plays Jacob Hay, replied: "You’ve been brilliant Lucy x."

DS Swain actress Vicky Myers added: "It was a joy to meet you Lucy and you were brilliant, as always! Hope our paths cross again x."

Alfie was welcomed into the world in March this year after Abi gave birth without knowing she was pregnant, and while heavily under the influence.

The former addict originally didn't want him, but later changed her mind.

Abi fell pregnant after having a fling with Imran Habeeb, and when he found out Alfie was his, he wanted custody.

He did everything he could to make sure that he was the parent looking after him and made out that that Abi was taking drugs again.

During the custody battle Alfie was taken into care and Lucy's character made several appearances on our screens.

Coronation Street is Lucy's first big role.
