Coronation Streets Paul star praises real-life Emmerdale cousins soap scenes

Coronation Street's Paul Foreman star, Peter Ash, has praised his real-life cousin Will Ash's "great work" on Emmerdale.
Peter, 38, is related to Caleb Milligan star, Will, 46, who first made his debut on the rival ITV soap over Christmas.
Currently both cousins are part of huge storylines with Peter's character Paul recently diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) in heartbreaking scenes.
While Will's character, Caleb, was revealed to be Frank Tate's son and Home Farm nanny Nicky's dad – with the newcomer out to get revenge on Kim Tate.
Discussing his cousin's incredible soap role with press, Peter admitted he hadn't managed to catch up with Will just yet.
However, the actor, who first joined Coronation Street in 2018, praised Will's "great work".
He said: "I've actually not spoken to him since he landed the role in Emmerdale!
"But I'm really open to catching up with him soon because, you know, he's doing great work. I'm loving it. I'm loving it, go on the Ash's."
It comes after Coronation Street actor Peter said there is “so much responsibility” portraying a character living with motor neurone disease (MND) to represent it properly and “not to cheapen it”.
In a first for the soap opera, much-loved character Paul was diagnosed with the terminal life-shortening illness earlier this year.
MND is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease that affects the brain and spinal cord, attacking the nerves that control movement so muscles no longer work and currently, it has no cure, the MND Association said.
Coronation Street has been working on the storyline with the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association whose experts have been advising the soap’s researchers, scriptwriters and actors since last autumn to ensure it is an “accurate portrayal”.
Coronation Street continues on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV.
While Emmerdale continues on weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
