Corrie airs out of slot hour special against Bake Off

Coronation Street’s rare hour-long episode will air tonight at the same time as The Great British Bake Off on Channel 4.

The alteration will also see Emmerdale and EastEnders clash as the ITV soap is airing for one hour.

When are the soaps airing tonight?

Tonight’s schedule will be:

Emmerdale – 7-8pm

Coronation Street – 8-9pm

BBC One:

EastEnders – 7:30-7:50pm

Holby City – 7:50-8:30pm

Channel 4:

The Great British Bake Off – 8-9:15pm

Why have the schedules changed tonight?

Emmerdale and Coronation Street will air tonight because of Live International Football airing this Friday (November 12).

Mark Pougatch will present all the action from the Group I qualifier that’ll see England play Albania.

Kick off will be at 7:45pm.

Watching Coronation Street will mean fans will miss one hour of Bake Off.

Emmerdale’s 60-minute episode will mean viewers will have to choose whether to watch the ITV soap as it airs, or the episode of EastEnders on BBC One.

Watching EastEnders will see soap fans miss 20 minutes of the Emmerdale episode.

What happens in Coronation Street tonight?

Following Kelly’s (Millie Gibson) release from prison, she’ll try her best to make amends with Nina (Mollie Gallagher), but life won’t be easy for her.

Elsewhere, Tyrone (Alan Halsall) will have no choice but to accept help from Phill, Fiz’s (Jennie McAlpine) new partner.

What happens in Bake Off tonight?

It’s Free-From week!

Jürgen, Giuseppe, Chigs, Crystelle and Lizzie will face a Signature challenge that requires them to bake without dairy products, a vegan Technical and a celebration cake in the Showstopper that must be completely gluten free.
