Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Casualty have all received huge nominations for this year’s National Television Awards.
This year’s ceremony will take place at the O2 arena in September, and comedian Joel Dommett will present the show for the first time.
Longlisted for the serial drama category are all of the six soaps: Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Neighbours and Home and Away, while BBC One’s Casualty is on the longlist for the returning drama category.
George Rainsford, who plays Ethan Hardy, is on the longlist for best drama performance.
Over in the category for best serial drama performance, the longlist includes: Hollyoaks’ Billy Price, Corrie’s Chris Gascoyne, EastEnders’ Mick Carter and Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley.
There’s currently twenty-five soap stars on the longlist, so be sure to check out the website for the full list.
The best newcomer category features six soap stars including: Casualty’s Olivia D’Lima, EastEnders’ Rose-Ayling Ellis, Corrie’s Jude Riordan and Emile John from Emmerdale.
You have until 11pm on June 4 to vote in the categories, before the shortlists are revealed in August.
