Coronation Street spoilers have outlined a painful week to come, as the waves of grief ripple through Weatherfield in the aftermath of Seb Franklin’s funeral.
Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) turns to alcohol to cope with the trauma, putting herself in dangerous situations and leaving those close to her fearing for her safety.
Things take a turn when she hints she’s prepared to attack Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) to avenge Seb’s murder, potentially leaving her own future in jeopardy.
Elsewhere, Gemma Winter (Dolly Rose Campbell) refuses to go through with a cochlear implant for baby Aled, driving a wedge through her relationship with Chesney Brown (Sam Aston).
And, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) returns from her hideout, fresh out of witness protection, and hoping for a fresh start on the street.
Below are the juiciest Corrie spoilers of the week, with the drama kicking off on Monday.
Chesney is over the moon when the doctor confirms Aled, who has extreme hearing difficulties, is a strong candidate for a cochlear implant.
However, when they get home, Gemma informs him she has no interest in Aled going through with the procedure as there are too many risks.
Chesney asks Freda to call around to help explain everything to Gemma, hoping she’ll warm to the idea of the implant.
Unfortunately, Gemma stands her ground and insists the procedure won’t go ahead – only for Chesney to point out Aled is his son too.
Tensions ramp up when Chesney fails to appear at their second sign language session, leaving Gemma seething.
Is there trouble in paradise for Gemma and Chesney as they try to navigate parenthood together?
Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) drops by Alina Pop’s (Ruxandra Porojnicu) flat to pick up the girls but is affronted when she sees Tyrone Dobb’s (Alan Halsall) new outfit.
He’s clearly embarrassed and admits Alina chose a new outfit for him – a far cry from his usual wardrobe of hoodies, jeans and mechanic’s overalls.
Emma invites everyone to the bistro for a cocktail evening hosted by her new man Curtis, with Fiz Brown (Jenny McAlpine) coming along for a few mojitos.
It’s a punch to the gut when she sees Alina walking into the bistro dressed in a very glamorous look, followed by Tyrone.
However, Fiz manages to get the last laugh, leaving Tyrone – who is wearing new skinny jeans – despairing.
Having been under witness protection for several months, Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), Leanne, and Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) make their way back to Weatherfield to return to their normal lives.
DS Glynn calls over and begs Leanne to give evidence against Harvey, pointing out it could save him from destroying the lives of others.
When his day in court comes, DS Glynn tells Harvey his intimidation tactics have failed, as Leanne will not be swayed by his campaign of terror.
Will Leanne give evidence against Harvey, and if so, will she leave her own life at risk?
Nina starts to spiral
Roy Cropper (David Neilson) is worried for Nina when she comes home after a night of drinking, and the next day tries to convince her to work on her graphic novel.
A grieving Nina just rips the novel apart and insists she’s worthless, leaving Roy and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) to piece the book back together and post pictures of it on Instagram in a show of support.
Sadly, the gesture just upsets Nina further, and she heads to the corner shop to try and nick another bottle of vodka.
Carla Connor stops her and tries to give her some advice, but Nina just makes a beeline for the bistro, where she spends a night boozing with Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and her friend Noah.
Daisy tries to take her home but she jumps into a cab and disappears, only to come home in a hungover state the next day, unfit to go to a meeting at the factory.

She tells Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) to stuff her job, and goes to the Rover’s Return to drink with an older man she met the night before.
Daisy watches on in concern as Nina leaves the pub to go to the man’s hotel, but once inside the hotel bar, she is shaken to see Corey having a drink with local footballer Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn).
She informs Tommy that Corey kicked her boyfriend to death, and when they try to leave, she picks up Corey’s award – for ‘Best New Talent’ in football – and follows them outside.
Is Nina about to attack Corey?
