Corrie’s Sally Carman teases Abi murder danger with Corey ‘serial killer’ hint

Coronation Street star Sally Carman has teased that her character Abi Franklin could be in serious danger after last week's turn of events.

On Friday, fans were left furious as evil Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) got away with the murder of Seb Franklin.

The young teen had been on trial for his role in the tragic death of Seb for the past week but led to members of the jury come to their decision that Corey was found not guilty.

In the devastating turn of events, innocent Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) was sentenced to time in prison for the crime.

Meanwhile, Corey left the courtroom smirking, as Abi arrived too late to hear his not guilty verdict readout.

In an exclusive chat with the Daily Star, Abi actress Sally Carman revealed what could be in store for the soap's storyline, as she hinted at what's next for Kelly and Corey.

Sally said: "I don't think Abi would for one second think about trying to get Kelly out of prison.

"But I think there might be some repercussions, we will just have to wait and see."

When asked if Corey could become a serial killer Sally said that there "may be" chance for this to happen and that her character could be at risk.

Sally added: "Has she got to watch her back? Yeah, I think she does.

"She would absolutely be at risk."

The actress went on to state that Abi certainly has it in her to put up a good fight though and may have some revenge planned on her own accord.

She continued: "Well I mean she's a fiery character so anything is possible but I'm sure there is something brewing.

"All I can say is Super Soap Week is going to be very interesting, there's a lot that's going to go down."

Sally said: "There’s a lot of beans coming up, some beans that could be something you’ve never seen before from Coronation Street, that could rival the tram crash.

"It’s amazing. You’re going to have your socks blown off and your hair blown off."
