EastEnders fans 'work out' Theo Hawthorne's real identity amid Stacey Slater stalking ordeal | The Sun
EASTENDERS fans have been quick to theorise Theo Hawthorne’s true motives after his real identity as Stacey’s stalker was exposed earlier this week.
The school teacher became increasingly obsessed with Stacey after finding her account on Secret Cam.
He then rocked up in Walford, but never told Stacey he’d taken up a fake identity online to follow her secret sex work.
Theo got closer to Lily to get to Stacey by giving her free lessons during her pregnancy.
But his true nature has finally been exposed. In Monday night’s episode, it was revealed Theo has used a key to break into Stacey’s house, trapping her in the kitchen while Lily was giving birth in the front room.
She yells at him and tries to make him leave, but it isn’t until Martin and Eve burst through the back door.

While they quickly got him out of the house, Theo revealed just how much he knows about Stacey and her past while they were alone in the kitchen.
Trying to piece together how he could know so much about her, fans have come up with a damning theory that has Theo working with a former Walford resident to get “revenge” on Stacey.
“Do you agree with my theory that Ruby & Theo could be working together? Surely Theo can’t be that clever when it comes to Stacey’s backstory,” an EastEnders fan posed on social media.
They continued: “The only person I can see working with Theo to get revenge on Stacey and the Slaters is Ruby.”

“Theo really has done his research into Stacey. I wonder if he’s worked with an inside Source (Ruby Allen potentially) to get the info he needs? Remember, Ruby and Stacey were friends for years pre their feud. She’d know about her exes and her bipolar.”
A second fan swiftly concurred, writing: “I agree with you about Ruby and Theo. I think there is some kind of new, sinister twist to Theo’s story.”
A third chimed in, saying: “Interesting theory about Ruby. I was surprised to see Theo so prominent in tonight’s episode, which suggests the storyline of his stalking is not now ‘done and dusted’ but could still take unexpected twists; he may continue to torment Stacey. Could Theo be Xmas corpse?”
Ruby Allen is currently in prison after all her lies caught up with her. And while fans have completely worked out how Theo and Ruby are connected, they’re sure the pair are working together.
“I’ve also got this theory. Theo is VERY infatuated with Stacey, but I believe there’s more than meets the eye with this story for it to go on so long and the way it’s connected,” a fourth added.
Meanwhile, a fifth fan suggested that Theo working with Ruby is the only thing that makes sense. “How else would he know all that stuff about Stacey?”
“It would be a great twist, wouldn’t it!” added a sixth soap fan.
However, another viewer, while agreeing that Theo is working with someone from Stacey’s past, suggested a different suspect.
“I think it’s Ryan as a way of looking to get Lily back. This could follow on to Ryan coming back and maybe even being the Christmas body in the Vic, which could also tie into Whitney leaving,” the posed.
