EastEnders: Frankie says she ‘needs to get out’
EastEnders resident Mick Carter (played by Danny Dyer) continued to struggle to navigate his relationship with his daughter Frankie (Rose Ayling-Ellis) as he lashed out at her amid his deepening concerns over the whereabouts of his sister Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White). However, with Frankie now set to leave for Australia, some fans of the BBC soap think her dad may, in fact, be Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) after the character mentioned his past with Mick in care, which didn’t go amiss with those watching at home.
Monday evening’s episode saw a wayward Frankie helped out by close pals Ben (Max Bowden) and Callum (Tony Clay) after she was taken into police custody once more.
Luckily she was released without charge but after being invited to her father Mick’s birthday party by Stuart, things took a difficult turn.
“I’m sorting some drinks with Mick for his birthday tomorrow and you beautiful people are invited,” Stuart told Frankie and Callum.
Callum introduced his friend to his brother, with it clear the pair were both unaware of her supposed parentage.

After Frankie raised her concerns, Stuart assured her Mick wouldn’t mind having her at his birthday bash.
Frankie later bumped into the undertaker in the Square, where she quizzed him further on Mick.
“I didn’t realise you and Mick were tight,” Frankie probed.
“Oh yeah, ever since we were kids, we’ve had our ups and downs but basically we’re like brothers,” he told her.

“Is it really okay for me to come to the party?” she asked before Stuart admitted he hadn’t yet cleared it with him.
“He’ll be chuffed I know he will,” Stuart replied. “He’s everyone’s mate, he always has been. We were in care together for a bit back in the day.
“Most people would look the other way when I came along but that didn’t stop Mick from being my mate. He’s solid, as straight as they come.”
“I’ve heard he’s not that straight,’ Frankie hit back.
“I don’t know who you think you are but I know my mate,” Stuart said, which led to a difficult run-in with Mick later on.

Mick lashed out at Frankie after she begged him to tell her what happened with Katy – which he refused to do.
Later on, Frankie tearfully started to open up to Ben as she became desperate to get to the bottom of what happened with her mother and Mick.
Now, some fans think the tense interactions could hint at a new plot twist.
Taking to Twitter this evening, one shared: “I have a feeling that Frankie is actually Stuart’s #eastenders.”
“Anyone got a feeling Frankie might actually be Stuart’s daughter NOT Mick’s #Eastenders,” asked another.
A third echoed: “That was a really, really good episode. And I’m still convinced that Stuart is a bigger puzzle piece in the Frankie/Katy story than he’s letting on at the moment. The Frankie and Ben scene was gorgeous. #EastEnders.”
“Said it from the start, Frankie won’t be Mick’s daughter. They’ll do a DNA, she won’t be Mick’s, and the main evidence to send Katy down won’t be there. Then, in a plot twist, it’ll turn out that Stuart is the Dad… @bbceastenders @MrDDyer @RickyChamp1 #EastEnders,” wrote a fourth.
Another commented: “I’ve been afraid of this from the start. I stg someone needs to take a paternity test. Stuart is all friends with Mick now. I smell a plot twist rat #EastEnders.”
Could it be revealed in the weeks to come Frankie is actually Stuart’s daughter as more secrets begin to come out in the open?
