Eric receives a surprise visitor in prison in Hollyoaks

Eric Foster (Angus Castle-Doughty) is in for quite the shock in Hollyoaks next week when he receives a visitor in prison, and it’s not who he’s expecting!

The incel and radical misogynist, as viewers know, was apprehended by police after he took a number of villagers hostage in The Dog on the day of sister Verity Hutchinson’s (Eva O’Hara) funeral.

Diane (Alex Fletcher) and Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) were both shot by an arrow from a crossbow during the incident, but armed police succeeded in capturing the criminal before any lives were lost.

Eric was taken to hospital to be treated for his minor injuries, before being taken to prison, where he’ll remain for what he did.

Mason Chen-Williams (Frank Kauer), who was radicalised and groomed by Eric, has been struggling to come to terms with everything that has transpired, with sisters Lizzie (Lily Best) and Serena (Emma Lau) disowning him due to his misogynistic actions and comments.

The teen decides he wants to go back to school next week, but things take a shocking turn when Honour (Vera Chok) and Dave (Dominic Power) find out that someone has launched a petition to have him kicked out of the school.

Maxine, meanwhile, tries to talk sense into Mason, but he doesn’t listen, and instead resolves to visit Eric in prison.

Dave, however, discovers what his son is up to, and puts a stop to it, while honour ambushes Eric, turning up to the visit instead of Mason in the hopes that the incel can give her the insight she needs to help her son.

Things, however, quickly turn sour.

Back at home, Maxine advises Mason to show his family how sorry he is, and Mason does just that, assuring his family he will prove to them how sorry he is for what has happened.
