GEMMA Collins has been offered a massive six-figure sum by Celebs Go Dating bosses in a desperate bid for her return.
The 39-year-old is in demand to star in the new Big Brother-style format, which will see the celebrities live together in a plush mansion.
Gemma first appeared on the show in 2018 and shared a romance with her now ex-boyfriend Laurence Hearn.
She recently split with her on/off lover and Towie co-star James Argent – leaving her open to explore new dating opportunities.
A source told The Sun: "Gemma Collins is exactly what Celebs Go Dating wanted in the new series.
"She's a ratings hit and brings an army of fans to the show.
"They offered her a big money deal, saying she could have whatever she wanted, but Gemma turned them down.
"She's got so much work on. Even if the fee is hundreds of thousands pounds, if it's not the right fit, she won't do it."
Stars will live together in a mansion to film the E4 show as they isolate together amid the coronavirus pandemic.
A TV insider told The Sun: “This is a safe way to ensure a large chunk of people taking part in the show are Covid-free and aren’t exposed to the virus during the filming.
“They’ll still go on dates with the ‘civilians’ they get paired with but they will be virtual meetings, not face-to-face.
"If the celebrities who are stuck in each other’s company get embroiled in any rows, mischief or saucy goings-on, they won’t protest too much.
"The cameras will be there to capture it all.”
The last series saw Chloe Ferry, Pete Wicks, Shaughna Phillips and Levi Davis attempt to find love in a Covid-conscious way.
None got a match and are all still single despite the efforts of show dating gurus Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson.
Gemma Collins' representative was unavailable for comment. The Sun has contacted CGD.
