Harry Potters Evanna Lynch tipped for Im A Celeb after surprise TV return

Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood in the legendary Harry Potter franchise, is tipped to be in this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! series.

Bookmakers at Coral have slashed the odds on the star to just 4-5, making it a strong chance that she will be part of the 2021 lineup.

The 30-year-old Irish actress and activist made her film debut in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, in 2007.

Evanna then went on to appear in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) as well as subsequent films Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and 2 in the franchise.

A spokesperson for Coral, Harry Aitkenhead, said: "Harry Potter fans were surprised to see Evanna Lynch on screen this week but we don't think it'll be the last we see of her this year. We think she could be headed onto I'm A Celeb this winter, making it odds on to happen now.”

However, this won’t be the first taste of reality show fame for the young actress.

The award-winning actress also appeared as a contestant on the American version of Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing with the Stars.
