Holly Willoughby cried on This Morning today (September 9) after speaking with Kate Garraway.
The Good Morning Britain presenter appeared on the rival ITV daytime series to discuss her nomination at this evening's National Television Awards.
Kate's Covid documentary Finding Derek, about her husband Derek Draper's struggle with the virus, has been nominated in the inaugural Authored Documentary Award.
During the interview, Kate said her husband Derek's recovery has been ‘painfully slow’ and is 'sad' he'll miss the NTAs.
She also admitted that she is 'absolutely shattered all the time', which led a tearful Holly to break down in tears.

Speaking about people who are disbelieving of the virus, Kate said: "If you don't think it exists, come and spend an hour in my home.
"You don't want to go through what Derek's gone through."
Following Kate's words, an emotional Holly could then be seen beginning to cry.
Phil said: "You are a remarkable woman. Thank you so much for talking to us today."
A visibly upset Holly added: "Sorry."

Kate responded: "Oh, Holly, are you crying?
"I can't see you, please don't cry. I don't want to make everybody miserable."
"You've done so well," Holly said. "Well done, you. I just need a tissue."
On the programme, Kate also described Derek's progress as "tough".
She said: "It feels like there is no change. It feels painfully slow."
She also revealed that he "can't talk" but shared her belief that he "understands everything", despite sleeping "20 out of 24 hours" a day.
