Im A Celeb fans brand Simon Gregson and Adam Woodyatt top tier TV after gruesome Trial on ITV show

Adam Woodyatt and Simon Gregson made their debut on Thursday's episode of I'm A Celebrity 2021.

And it wasn't long until the EastEnders star, 53, and Coronation Street star, 47, were thrown into a gruesome challenge called the Castle Scare Fair.

It comes after the duo were confirmed for I'm A Celebrity at the end of Wednesday's episode.

During the episode, all of the campmates arrived at the Trial where they were surprised with Simon and Adam's debut.

Dec explained: "There are two very important people here tonight and I’m not talking about me and Ant. Please welcome your new campmates, the new Lords of the Castle – Simon and Adam.”

Ant then explained to the Lords: "You have certain privileges," with a laughing Simon replying: "Sorry in advance."

The presenter continued: "But first this evening, you must earn their respect and you need to win them food to eat tonight. The way to do that is by taking on a Trial."

With Dec adding: "This is the Scare Fair. The Trial will take place over 5 rounds and there are 12 stars to be won, which equals 12 meals for camp tonight."

The first round was called, Testicle Ticket Booth, with Ant explaining: "You’ve got 2 minutes to get all of the sheep’s testicles from one tray into another using only your mouths. If you drop a testicle on the floor, you may pick it up with your mouth and carry on."

After completing the gruesome challenge, Ant quipped: "You can tell they’re from the soaps as they give you drama!"

Up next was the Coconut Cry, where they were given two minutes to knock the coconuts off the stands while they were showered with Castle critters, with the two again completing it.

The duo then had to put their heads in boxes for a Queen of the Castle round, which had snakes inside, and they had to use their mouths to get the stars off their threads – with Adam missing out on one star.

For the final star, the two campmates had to down a drink of blended cow's anus, which they both finished, winning an incredible 11 out of 12 stars for camp.

Simon and Adam were left delighted as they exclaimed: "That’s not a bad start at all brother."

Back in camp, Louise Minchin read out a scroll: "Lord Adam and Lord Simon, being Lords of the Castle comes with many privileges. You are exempt from all chores in and around camp.

"Only you can use the Lords’ chairs, the Lords’ beds and wear the Lords’ clothing. And you will dine in the Great Great Hall. At the sound of the Lord’s fanfare you can all attend the Great Great Hall for dinner."

And in the Great Great Hall, the celebrities had quail for dinner after the triumphant challenge.

Viewers were left delighted over Simon and Adam's debut as they branded the soap legends as "top tier TV".

One person said, using the duo's soap characters Steve McDonald and Ian Beale: "Steve & Ian is top tier TV #ImACeleb."

A different account put: "I love Simon & Adam already #ImACeleb," followed by laughing emojis.

Another follower commented: "@imacelebrity I already love and adore Simon & Adam #ImACeleb."

While a different viewer added: "#Simon & #Adam smashed it! I love them together already!"
