The I’m A Celebrity campmates were overcome with emotion as they heard Grace Dent’s final message following her exit.
The restaurant critic and Masterchef regular was one of many famous faces in this year’s line-up. However, on Monday (November 27), it was confirmed that Grace had decided to leave the gruelling ITV reality show.
Her exit was revealed to be because of medical grounds and it did not come as a shock to viewers, who shared their concern over Grace’s wellbeing. Hours before her exit she had also been voted by the public to take part in the upcoming Bushtucker trial with This Morning host Josie Gibson.

And during Monday’s episode (November 27) her campmates were informed of her exit. Nick read aloud from a letter: “My Dear campmates, I’m so sorry to let you down.
“I have left the camp for medical reasons. My heart is broken, I have loved and enjoyed getting to know you all. You’ve held me up and it’s been a pleasure being your friend through this experience. Leaving you all at this stage will be one of the saddest things in my life. I love you all. Your friend, Miss Grace Dent.”
The camp was quick to send their support to Grace. Frankie shouted out loud: “Grace, we miss you.” Tearful, Danielle also shouted out loud: “Love you, Grace.”
Marvin quipped: “Miss you, Grace. While Nick said: “That’s really sad” Marvin insisted: “She hasn’t let us down!” and Danielle then agreed: “Bless her, she did really well.”
A spokesperson for ITV said on Grace's exit confirmed that she had left the show. The spokesperson added: "Unfortunately Grace Dent has left the show on medical grounds. She has been a great campmate and will be missed by her fellow celebrities and viewers alike."

As a result, ITV bosses had to step in and fill the gap in who would do the trial to earn food for camp. During an episode of Good Morning Britain, it was revealed that producers had already found her replacement.
EastEnders star Danielle Harold stepped in to replace Grace and joined Josie in the trial. The pair did well in the challenge and won 10 out of 12 stars.
