I’m A Celeb’s Nigel Farage knows he’ll be voted for trials as ‘millions hate me
I’m A Celeb 2023 full line-up confirmed
GB News presenter Nigel Farage believes that he will find himself undertaking every trial on this year’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here as he feels that “millions hate him”.
“Given millions hate me, I do expect people will vote for me to do trials!” he acknowledges.
“My crime was to stand against an establishment view and I was for many years the lone voice saying Europe wasn’t where we should be, so I have been a little bit demonised.
“I am hoping those who hate me might hate me a little bit less afterwards. But it’s a gamble.
“And the idea that somehow the things I represent – mean-spirited, small-minded, nasty, the ‘little Englander’ – all those accusations that have been flung at me over the years just aren’t true. If we can dispel some of those misconceptions, then that will be a good thing too.”

When asked if there are any trials in particular that he is not looking forward to, he admits to one big fear.
“I am particularly dreading anything to do with heights and everyone will have a degree of apprehension, but again this is what the test is,” he said.
Nigel’s appearance on the show isn’t a huge surprise, as he was one of the names being strongly hinted at as a contestant for the past several weeks.
He did nothing to assuage the rumours while speaking on GB News just last week.
“I’ve thought about [the offer] hard, for the last ten days or so. It’s quite a big decision and quite an unconventional thing for me to do.

“There is a big, young audience out there who don’t really have anyone that speaks to them, it seems to me, about current affairs and politics in Britain. That’s what tempts me, but I haven’t signed a contract… yet.”

Nigel joins YouTube star Nella Rose, This Morning presenter Josie Gibson, First Dates maître d Fred Sirieix, Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, Britney Spears little sister and former Zoey 101 star Jamie-Lynn Spears, food critic Grace Dent, TV presenter and former JLS star Marvin Humes, former EastEnders star Danielle Harold and Hollyoaks icon Nick Pickard on the ITV reality show.
