Inside this year’s I’m A Celeb camp – from a single bath to the return of Kiosk Kev

The launch of 2023's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is just days away and the jungle camp is already prepared for its new A-list arrivals.

Photos of the camp show how the celebs will be trading their lives of luxury for a rather basic living arrangement – complete with the traditional hammocks for sleeping.

Alongside the unsheltered hammocks, photos also show the open campfire where the star will be cooking their meals, rather different to the lavish kitchens they may be used to at home.

Following the Bushtucker Trials, which have been known to leave campmates covered in bugs and fish guts, they may wish to wash in the solitary bath – which may take a while to fill.

Camp is also home to the Bush Telegraph, in which the campmates can open up about their time in camp, and share their true feelings about their fellow stars.

Snaps from the jungle also show a bright red telephone box, which long-time viewers will recognise from the Dingo Dollar challenges, which can sometimes see the camp receive some special treats.

The return of these challenges also means the return of Kiosk Kev and his Deals on Wheels. Kisok Kev joined the show back in 2018 and has proved popular with fans ever since.

This year's I'm A Celeb will see controversial former politician Nigel Farage, former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold, and JLS's Marvin Humes make their way into the jungle.

They will be joined by Hollyoaks legend Nick Pickard, former Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, This Morning host Josie Gibson, and Jamie Lynn Spears, among a number of other famous faces.

This year's lineup has sparked some backlash from viewers, with some complaining about Jamie Lynn being on the lineup, while others threatened to boycott over Nigel's participation in the show.

One viewer expressed their disappointment on X (previously Twitter), saying: "Just so upset by this. Ant, Dec and ITV platforming a xenophobe who revels in whipping up division and poison. What has this country become?"

Another viewer urged others to boycott the show, stating: "BOYCOTT…. ITV – seeing a rating drop is the only message that will register with the powers that be… Farage has been the architect of division and decline in our country, and his web of lies to achieve Brexit can never be forgotten."

A third viewer added: "Boycott #ImACeleb @ITV are sanitising the deplorable @Nigel_Farage. #NigelFarage does not reflect the nation's values!"

One viewer was quite upset, saying: "I decided to avoid I'm a Celeb after they gave Matt Hancock a platform to excuse himself of all his wrongdoing and lawbreaking. This year, it's hatemonger Farage. Irresponsible, immoral, and greedy for viewing figures. #ImAceleb and Ant and Dec can #GetInTheBin,".

Another disappointed fan added: "Shame on ITV for giving Farage a platform on one of its most popular shows. Pure evil vibes."
