KYE Whyte's emotional secret behind this weekend's Dancing On Ice routine has been revealed as he makes it through to semi-final.

The BMX Olympic silver medallist has wowed the nation with his enthusiastic performances after he prepares to skate SOLO for the first time in a group routine to be scored by the judges this Sunday.

With the finals just within reaching distance, Kye is more determined than ever to go all the way.

It comes after 22-year-old beat Stef Reid in the skate-off to make it through to the Dancing on Ice semis this Sunday.

The Olympic champ has a very special reason for wanting to lift the trophy.

A source said: "Kye is dedicating his performance to the kids of Peckham. He's going to be skating solo for the first time on Sunday, so he's been putting in extra time on the ice in between BMX training.
