Lee Mack confirms return of beloved BBC comedy as The 1% Club bags first NTA | The Sun
LEE Mack has confirmed the return of a beloved BBC comedy as The 1% Club bagged a National Television Award.
The comedian and presenter admitted that Would I Lie to You will eventually make a return to TV.
Lee, 55, is best known for his extensive roles in a variety of game shows on various channels including BBC and Sky.
The long-running quiz goliath has been on air since 2007 and now the panellist has confirmed that more episodes are on the way.
Speaking to The Sun on the red carpet at the National Television Awards, he revealed: "I think it’s been out the one that we’ve done.
"I lose track because it’s always on Dave, so I lose track of what’s been on and what’s not.

"I think we’ve recorded one that has yet to go on television and we’re doing some more next year".
In 2022, he began hosting The 1% Club on ITV, which is styled on an IQ test, but the questions are based on logic and common sense.
He also hosted Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof alongside This Morning's Holly Willoughby.
Before his career in TV, he was best known for his stand-up comedy and speaking to The Sun, he said he intends to go back.

"I’ve not done stand up now for about seven years. I also stopped drinking seven years ago and I wonder if there’s a connection," Lee admitted.
"I want to go back to stand up, I keep meaning to, but then I’ll do the quiz show [1% Club] or Not Going Out."
He added: "I just want a job where you can come home at night and watch telly in your pants. Telly is much easier to do in your pants than stand up – you’ve actually got to work there."
The 1% Club is now a national award-winning format and international versions of the show air in countries such as Spain, France and Australia.
However, Lee seems to have his eye on the USA as he thinks it would be good for his street-cred.
He confessed: "I shamelessly pushed to be in the American version. I kept going ‘I’ll do it, I’ll do it’.
"It’s still up for grabs. I’d like to do that because I don’t think you’ve made it as a comedian unless you’ve totally messed up your career in America."
