Liam Payne caught speeding in his £35k Ford Ranger after driving 43mph in 30 zone | The Sun

LIAM Payne has been caught speeding behind the wheel of his £35,000 pick up truck, The Sun can reveal.

The One Direction star, 30, was allegedly doing 43mph in a 30mph zone in west London when an automatic camera clocked his speed.

He is believed to have been in his black Ford Ranger Wildtrak Deranged Edition at the time of the incident on the Hammersmith flyover in February.

His case was heard at Lavender Hill Magistrates Court on Monday with the offence carrying a fine of £100 and three penalty points.

According to the court listing he was heading eastbound on the A40 on February 24 when the incident happened.

The offence was dealt with by magistrates at the court in south west London with the singer not believed to have attended the short hearing.

The Sun reached out to a representative for the star for comment.

Liam – worth an estimated £47 million – has a huge collection of sports cars including a Lamborghini Aventador worth around £270,000 and a Cadillac Escalade worth £145,000.

He also admitted that he bought himself one of the Ford Anglia’s used in the Harry Potter movies as a massive fan of the series.

In an interview on BBC Radio 1, he said: “I bought the Harry Potter car and I put it in my garden. You know the blue car, the flying one? I bought one because I’m a bit of a geek.”
