LITTLE Mix's Perrie Edwards has revealed that her baby son Axel was born THREE WEEKS early – and just one day after she and partner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had set up the nursery.
The 28-year-old star welcomed her first child back in August, just days after her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock gave birth to twins.
But the Little Mix babies weren't supposed to be quite so close in age, with Axel actually due in September.
Perrie posted a video of her dad getting to grips with building the furniture while surrounded by the family dogs.
The singer can be heard chuckling as she exclaims: "One man surrounded by 20 boxes!"
She added: "It was a family affair getting the nursery ready for the little man's arrival."
In a second video, footballer Alex can be seen laying on the floor as he builds more nursery necessities.
Perrie shared: "I can't believe he came the day after we put up the furniture #ThreeWeeksEarly".
In a final post, the new mum posted a black and white photo of inside her son's wardrobe, full of tiny babygros and sleepsuits.
She wrote: "@MamasAndPapas I can't thank you enough for getting me fully prepared for Baby Axel's arrival!"
Perrie kept her baby son's name a secret for two weeks before taking to social media to finally reveal that they had called him Axel.
She broke the news alongside two adorable snaps of the newborn, which saw him wrapped up in a white blanket in a basket.
Perrie wrote to her following: "Two weeks of loving you. I’ve never felt love like this before!"
Meanwhile, Leigh-Anne, who shares her twins with fiance Andre Gray, is yet to reveal their names, genders, or faces.
