Love Island final voting rules: How to vote and what are the voting rules of the final?

The Love Island 2019 final kicks off at 9pm tonight (Monday, July 29) on ITV2. Before the winner is announced, the Islanders will get to sit on the Love Island couch with host Caroline Flack to reflect on their experience and get shown the best bits. Footage from their final day in the villa will also be shown and the Islanders will be attending a Summer ball and reading their love letters to one another.

What are the rules of the Love Island final?

There are four couples in the Love Island final this year. They are:

  • Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard
  • Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague
  • Okie Soko and India Reynolds
  • Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea

Only one couple can be crowned the winners of Love Island 2019 and take home the £50k cash prize.


Last night, the voting lines opened for viewers to vote for the couple they want to win Love Island.

The voting lines are open until 8.45pm tonight and will close temporarily as the fourth and third couples are announced.

Voting will then reopen once again, giving viewers the chance to vote again for their favourite couple.

Voting will then close for the final time and the Love Island winning couple will be announced.


How to vote in The Love Island final?

You can vote for who want to win Love Island 2019 right now via the Love Island app.

Voting on the Love Island app is free of charge.

Before 8.45pm you can only vote once for the couple you want to win Love Island.

The show will then start at 9pm and the couples in fourth and third place will be announced.

The voting lines will then reopen during the live final and you will be able to vote once more for your favourite couple.

All of the votes cast before 8.45pm will be carried over and added together to decide the winning couple.


Who will win Love Island 2019?

Out of the four final couples, only one couple can win Love Island 2019.

The winning couple will then have to pick between two envelopes, only one of which contains the £50k prize.

The Islander who chooses the envelope containing the money will then have to decide whether they want to split the prize money or keep it for themselves.

For weeks, Tommy and Molly were the favourites to win Love Island 2019.

However, things have changed in the last two weeks and now it is very close between Ovie and India, Amber and Greg, and Tommy and Molly to win.

Amber and Greg are currently at odds of 10/11 at Bet365, Betfair and Betvictor to win.

Tommy and Molly-Mae are ar odds of 11/10 at PaddyPower, Betfred and Bet365 to win.

The third favourites to win are Ovie and India at odds of 5/1 at Skybet, Betfair and PaddyPower.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Tommy and Molly may well have peaked too early with Greg and Amber now storming into favouritism with just hours to go.“
