Love Island viewers know why two new bombshells have already been put into villa

Love Island viewers have taken to social media to share their thoughts on why the show has already introduced three bombshells to the villa, before even reaching day three.

The teaser at the end of Tuesday's episode left fans shocked when it was revealed that two new bombshells will be entering the villa.

The new Islanders –model Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown, 25, and money adviser David Salako, 24 – are set to shake things up ahead of the next recoupling.

Taking to Twitter, fans were quick to share their thoughts on the decision to add so many bombshells so early on in the series, with one posting: "Two more bombshells already? TPTB already bored with the current lot?"

While a second argued: "MORE BOMBSHELLS! the producers must be fighting to bring back the viewers – if they’re having to introduce more people already."

Another said that they "can't remember a duller start" adding: "Tom as a bombshell was blah. The islanders seem blah."

And a fourth added: "This episode was dry […] but I just have to remind myself the beginning always is. Hope the bombshells spice it up."

Ahead of arriving at the South African villa, Essex local David said: "Listen, there’s only one David Salako. There we go. If you’re in a relationship with me it’ll be nothing but good fun, vibes. I think I’m alright looking as well…"

Similarly, Zara, who is from London, said: "I’m very loving to a fault, I am a Leo and people often think Leos are arrogant but we’re just very self-assured, we love ourselves but we have the same capacity to love other people."

Prior to the bombshell announcement, Tuesday night's show ended with the series' first bombshell Tom Clare revealing which girl he had decided to 'steal'.

The tense moment came to a climax when the footballer picked Olivia Hawkins to couple up with, subsequently leaving Will Young single.

Following Tom's decision, Will received a text that read: "Will, you are now single. At the end of the week, all Islanders will take part in a recoupling. The Islander not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the Island."

The Islanders are not yet aware that two more newbies are on the way in.

The new series got off to an eye-widening start on Monday night, after Kai Fagan found himself in not one but three couples just in the first coupling.

Originally, Anna-May Robey chose to be with science and PE teacher Kai, before new girl Olivia decided to steal him from her clutches, despite him not stepping forward for her.

Things were about to change up very quickly for Olivia, though, as new girl Tanyel Revan entered the villa, with Kai stepping forward to show his attraction for her, leaving Olivia "fuming".
