Jonathan Ross, Vick Hope, Gareth Thomas, Victoria Derbyshire, Tom Allen, Chunkz, and Sara Cox were put under the spotlight as they used their specialist knowledge to help the contestants. However, one player who won over the hearts of BBC viewers was blind contestant Toby.
Michael McIntyre welcomed the university student and content creator, who explained that he wanted to pay off his student loans if he won any money.
Toby got off to a great start as he sailed through each round before making it to the final.
However, towards the end of the show, it was a tense moment for all as the contestant attempted to win £45,000.
“Toby has cleared The Wheel,” Michael shouted in celebration. “£45,000 in the bank, an amazing sum of money.”
The host continued: “You are going to be asked the cash-out question and one of our experts is going to help you answer that question.”
Michael quickly revealed Victoria was at the top of the leaderboard and if Toby chose the presenter to help him, he’d win £22,500. However, if he went with Sara, he could win £45,000.
The student decided to go with Sara, however, things took a turn when they had to answer a question about art.
Toby looked horrified as Michael asked: “Which of these artists has won the Turner Prize in the 21st century?”
Sara seemed to lean towards Grayson Perry, with Toby telling her: “This is all on you.”
He joked: “Grayson Perry is who you’re saying? Because blind people don’t like art.”
As Toby locked in his answer, Michael put his head in his hands, admitting: “I can’t bear it.”
However, Sara looked tearful as she’d answered the question correctly, winning Toby £45,000.
