CBS viewers are already sharing their disappointment after noticing two main characters are “missing” from the upcoming episode 15 in NCIS: LA’s fourteenth and final season. Viewers are complaining on social media that they can’t spot them in newly released teaser clips.

Taster clips have been released ahead of Sunday’s upcoming episode, which is this week titled “The Other Shoe”.

An official synopsis reveals that Sam (played by LL Cool J) will be the centre of attention as he embarks on an extremely important mission.

Viewers can expect more action from the new episode as CBS details exactly what he’ll be getting up to in Sunday’s instalment.

The description reads: “Sam Hanna must go undercover as a fighter to catch the leader of a gang dealing drugs on the streets.”

Although, after watching teaser clips for the upcoming episode, fans are less than impressed after noticing not everyone was on-screen.

Taking to Twitter, @0803HAL posted: “Looks like both Callen & Kensi might be AWOL Sunday’s episode. #ncisla”

@JoanneKBee replied: “Ugh lovely. I’ve gotten away from caring about the episode if Callen’s not there”

@cvw48 shared: “Don’t tell me Deeks? No sense in watching.”

Over on YouTube, fans also noticed the absences after watching more of the teaser clips shared ahead of this week’s episode.

@patriciabrandt2883 commented: “No Kensi or Callen in this episode?”

User @ellieharris7138 added: “Can’t wait but no callen?”

@ianmintz3335 said: “I was just thinking that! Where are Callen and Kensi?”

Concluding the comments, @Kat-hg9tz explained: “Some characters go off for a certain number of episodes in the season.

“They’ve been doing that for a couple of seasons now.”

Following news that CBS axed the crime drama, star Daniela Ruah (who plays Kensi) already lined up her next television role.

It has been confirmed that the actress will host the Portuguese version of the critically-acclaimed game show The Traitors.

Following the show’s debut, Ruah took to Instagram this week to share a first-look glimpse of the new series.

She wrote: “Forget everything you’ve ever seen. The worldwide phenomenon now arrives in Portugal!”

NCIS: LA season 14 finale and the last-ever episode is set to air later this year in May.

NCIS: LA season 14 continues Sundays on CBS in the US and is also streaming on Paramount+ in the UK.
