NETFLIX viewers were left stunned as a wife accused her 'obsessed' husband of murdering both of her parents in a disturbing new documentary.
The chilling true crime four-part series explores the 1985 killings of Derek and Nancy Haysom.
Netflix recently dropped docu-series titled Till Murder Do Us Part: Soering vs. Haysom on its streaming platform.
The film tells the story of the "bizarre" real-life murder investigation of married couple Derek and Nancy, who lived in Boonsboro, Bedford County, Virginia.
The official synopsis of the show reads: "Did Jens Soering murder his girlfriend's parents in 1985 — or was she the killer? This docuseries digs into questions that still swirl around the case."
In 1985, the elderly couple were found brutally murdered and had reportedly been slashed so hard across their throats that they were almost decapitated.

At the time the couple's daughter, Elizabeth Haysom's boyfriend, Jens Soering, confessed to the murders after he was arrested in London in 1986.
Jens, now aged 57, features in the documentary as the gruesome story is unravelled.
In the trailer, he is heard saying: "I thought I was doing the right thing and did something very wrong".
The trailer also shows archived footage of Jens and Elizabeth at the ages of 20 and 18, giving their testimonies in court at the time of the murders.

During his trial in 1990, he pleaded not guilty to the murders and claimed he lied at first to try and protect Elizabeth.
Eventually, he was convicted and sentenced to two consecutive life sentences.
Elizabeth testified during Jens's trial and also pleaded guilty to being an accessory to murder.
In archived footage included in the film, Elizabeth says: "My parents died because Jens and I were obsessed with each other… He said that he killed my parents".
Soering tells the court that he "felt he didn't have any choice."
Elizabeth adds: "Jens acted of his own free will. He had a choice."
In 2019, Jens became a free man when he was granted parole after his previous requests were rejected 14 times.
To this day, many people have questioned the double murder case due to the conflicting DNA evidence that wasn't available at the time and Jen's continuous cry of innocence.
